The Balls

Everyone who skipped this show should be sent to Siberia. The Balls absolutely rocked on Saturday night. General Krutov was in top form up to all his old tricks. He had the crowd in the palm of his sweaty, stinky hands.
The Time Beings were on fire. They played a couple of new songs and proved once again why the are the Kings of The Garage in Wormtown.
Tony Jones and the Cretin 3 also shook the floor. They are from Providence and you should check them out soon.
I missed Jetset. I had to take a break sometime.
And lastly, The Gansett Girls were beautiful as always, and they gave me a new hat. Look for it on an LB's head near you.

Wormtown Weekend

Already? Time flies.
Friday, Guns Of Navarone are at Beatniks. Seems like they play somewhere every week. They must be the hardest skankin' workin' outfit the world. Go see why.
Unless you are heading to Ralph's for The Chicken Slacks monthly residence. This time there is alot of buzz about BlowFly, the worlds oldest rapper? I have no clue, never heard of him. So uncool.
Saturday is the big time this week with the return of The Balls featuring General Krutov. If you are familiar with them, you know what to expect. If not, you'll never know what to expect. To say they are unique, would be an understatement. To say they will surprise and amaze you with their brand of Russian/American punk rock noise, would be about right. Also on the bill are Wormtowns' kings of the garage , The Time Beings, Jetset, and Tony Jones and the Cretin 3. It's all to benefit WAG, Worcester Artists Group, AND sponsored by Narragansett Beer.
So, Hi Neighbor, have a Gansett!
Have several.

Last Fridays Punks

Here are some shots from The Ship Room last week.
Mack the Knife were surprising. Ska/reggae tunes that sound alot like The Selecter.
Numbskulls featured a few new songs.
Terribles were loud fast and furious. Great night all around.

Wormtown Weekend

Punk rock returns tonight. Unfortunately, two shows on the same night.
In The Ship Room at The Hotel Vernon, a FREE show with Terribles, Holy Ghost, Mack the Knife, a new band featuring former members of Hoodrat, and The Numbskulls. Did I mention it's free? Also $1 Narragansetts? A show for the unemployed, or just cheap bastards.
Down on Park Ave at Beatniks, The Pathetics along with Billy Claire and Frank Hinckely present an evening of Acoustic music. Nothing like soft, subtle songs to impress that special friend of yours. Prove you have a sensitive side.
Rest up on Saturday because our favorite horror/punk/ska band from down below the Mason-Dixon line, The Independents are in town for one night only at London Billiards on Sunday. Why not take advantage the slowest night of the week for going out, and get over there and see them. They will join forces with The Numbskulls and The Pathetics, who should both be rested up from Friday night.
Call in sick on Monday.

Call The Wahmbulance!

Two posts in one day? A first, but I forgot about this one.

Did you catch it in last weeks Worcester Mag A Zine?
Save my life? Better use spell check first.
There are "ruffly" two typos here.
