The weather was perfect.
The cars were smokin'.
The women were spicy.
The burgers were juicy.
The music was wild.

Action Packed!! I want it to be Action Packed!
Starting tonight at The Lucky Dog, Sasquatch and the Sickabillys, Gein and the Graverobbers, The Creeping Cadavers and Carlotta Valdes. We all know what a madman Sasquatch is, so this will be action packed!
Also on Friday, up north, Bottlefight are playing at The Red Onion, for those of you brave enough to make the trek to Otter River, off rte 68.
Saturday, Ralph's is the place to be all day and night, starting at 11 am, The First Annual Rumble at Ralph's. These cars shows are always action packed, with pre 1964 hot rods, burgers, beer and music.
Then at night it's the return of Angry Johnny and the Killbillies, with Werewovles on Wheels, Octomen, and SPF-4. Angry and the boys have been tearing up stages all over the country this past summer and are back for what will be an action packed show! You don't want to miss this.
If you are out of town in the south county , The Pathetics are playing a show at Mill Street Brews in Southbridge with The Cretins, The Prozacs, The Turkeys and Critical Condition.
So gimme the downbeat maestro, this weekend will be Action Packed!!!

Wormtown Weekend
This week the city is full of fun fest activities sure to please everyone who likes that kind of stuff. I'm not one of those masses so I'll avoid cAnal Fest, Proud To Be Fest, Puppy and Kitty Fest, Mountain Owners Need Cash Fest.
Instead I recommend that we all get out of Wormtown and go see THE ODDS!. That's right, our fave garage/psych/rock heroes are back for one more show at The Precinct in Somervile on Saturday with Muck and the Mires. It is your last chance to see these Wormtown Legends perform the music that made them the most popular band here back in the 80's and early 90's.
Get there early Muck's on first, then The Odds, then Muck again.
Better than anything in Wormtown this week!

Wormtown Weekend
This Friday, there is a show so special, that I will drag my crippled ass out to Ralph's just so I can say "I was there!"
The Disconnect, a new Wormtown band featuring members of The Numbskulls, Ghouls Night Out, Gein and the Graverobbers, Crimson Ghosts, Demons Seeds and Nodscene have their debut gig along with, The Pathetics, Varsity Drag and the return of The Cretins.
The Disconnect have been working on this since winter of '08, and I've not heard anything yet, so I'm looking forward to hearing their sound that they describe as "70's Glam Punk/Garage".
The Cretins, from Boston, formed in 1995 and played their brand of punk for five years building a solid following and released a great LP "We're Gonna Get So Laid".They reunited last year and are picking up where they left off.
Varsity Drag, also come from Boston and feature a founding member of The Lemonheads in Ben Deily. Never heard them.
The Pathetics, as you should know, are Wormtown rock n roll trouble makers who always entertain the masses with a vast catalog of classics from their three cd's.
So get there early, have a 'Gansett or two, and enjoy the show.
Just don't step on my foot, I'll stay away from the pit.
