Willie Alexander and the Neighborhoods teamed up in Boston, and our friend Sid Vicious, awaiting trial for the murder of his girlfriend Nancy Spungen, overdosed in New York. Thus becoming the first punk rock casualty. It was truly a tremendous loss. Only 21 and and snuffed out in his prime.
The world would never know if he really was guilty. But Hollywood made the movie anyway. Go rent Sid and Nancy, and you be the judge.
