I am not sure where to post this comment, lb- but you really need an editor:
“I'll be back in a while as long as I don't wipe out or get eating by a shark.” is not good grammar for a blog as intelligent and incisive as yours. One may be “eaten” by a shark, but it would certainly be a feat if one could “get eating” by a shark.
