John Lydon, aka Johnny Rotten has put the band back together and is touring the US starting in April. It's not the original, notorious unit that first gave us Public Image LTD after the Sex Pistols broke up, but more of an amalgamation of past players who performed with him after the original unit broke up, or self destructed. That is good news for fans who never saw them when they last performed more than 17 years ago. The bad news is, it seems that the old bypass of Worcester is still in effect as it was years ago when bands toured the Northeast. They will play in Boston on May 4 and 5th, Providence on May 9th, and Northampton on May 16th. Won't someone step up and offer them a gig in Wormtown? Wouldn't you love to see this show in your hometown? If you don't feel like traveling to see them play, they will be on TV next Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel's show, their first US TV appearance since 1992.

Didn't you go to the show at the Centrum in the late 80s, when PIL opened for INXS? I was at that show. I was 16 or 17. How old were you? : )
